Lesson Structure

Golf lessons are unique to each student but follow a general structure:

  • Establish why the golfer is here for a lesson
  • Establish a goal for the lesson and the next few weeks
  • Create a “contract” with the student so both of us are invested
  • Using various techniques and drills, help the golfer make focused incremental changes that are measurable and obvious to the student
  • Summarize the lesson with the student and assign take-home drills and exercises
  • Swing video is sent to the student as well as drill videos
  • Vital: the student follows instructions at home to help ingrain the new learned movement
